SPRING IS COMING!!!  Join us on Sunday, March 11 (snow date March 18) at the beautiful ThorpeWood Lodge in Thurmont, Maryland for our 2018 Season Kick-Off Party and Annual Membership meeting.  Come out and spend the day with other club members learning, eating, partying and planning our 2018 season.

The festivities will begin at 10:30 with a free, unmounted clinic, entitled, “The Secret to Getting the Most Out of Your Icelandic Horse” with club member Sandy Newkirk.  This is the first in a series of free clinics she will offer this year.  We’ll start the party at the conclusion of the clinic (around 1:00 PM).  The party will feature a delicious pot luck lunch and exciting door prizes.  Our annual meeting will round out our activities.  We'll share ideas and information for activities for our 2018 season including trail rides, fun day with prizes, regional drill teams, training, clinics, recognized show, etc. We'll look to you for any other events that you, the members, would like to see happen this year!

This event is open to guests!  The club will provide a delicious ham, paper goods and soft drinks, and a big cake for dessert.  You bring additional main courses, side dishes, salads and desserts.  Please RSVP and let us know who's coming with you what you’ll bring to share for the Pot Luck.   We won't have access to the ThorpeWood kitchen so please keep that in mind when deciding what to bring.
