2021 Virtual Season Kickoff with Guest Presenter Caeli Cavanaugh

The Frida Club's Board of Directors is absolutely delighted to announce our virtual (Zoom) 2021 Season KickOff and Annual Meeting on Sunday, March 7 at 12:30 PM.

Our featured guest is Caeli Cavnaugh who will be presenting a demo and talk on the topic of liberty training. There will be some time at the end of Caeli's presentation for some Q&A from our members. Caeli was the third American to ever attend Holar University College’s Bachelor’s program in Riding and Riding Instruction, as well as one of only three Americans with a Level 3 training and certification from FEIF as well as a membership in Félag Tamningamenna, the Icelandic Horse trainer’s association. Liberty work is fascinating to watch and rewarding to participate in. Caeli was one of liberty's early adopters in the Icelandic community and is one of its most accomplished practitioners. She has won numerous competitions and presented highly acclaimed demos in venues here and abroad.

You can read more about Caeli at https://www.alfadans.com/about-usand about her Liberty School at https://www.alfadans.com/alfadans-liberty-school . HOW DO I ATTEND THE KICKOFF AND ANNUAL MEETING? We'll send the link for the virtual March 7 Kickoff And Annual Meeting to everyone who has renewed their membership for 2021.

YOUR IDEAS NEEDED: Your directors are looking to you for areas of interest to explore during our 2021 season. We are considering additional virtual presentations until we can safely meet in person for activities. The determination of virtual vs in person will be made based on as progress fighting Covid allows. We are beginning to plan our events now and would love to hear from you about topics that would be useful and interesting for you. Liberty training for example, was suggested recently by one of our members and became the topic for our KickOff. Please send us an email at fircboard@firc.us to let us know your interests.

2021 CLUB DUES ARE DUE: We are a small club and depend on your dues to allow us to pay for our activities and expenses. Please pay your 2021 dues promptly so that you won't miss any of our upcoming virtual and in-person activities. As previously announced, those who paid for 2020 will have a free 2021 season. We abandoned the collection of dues early last year due to Covid so many of you who would normally have paid dues last year did not do so. If you're not sure whether you need to pay your dues please send an email to treasurer@firc.us and we'll let you know.
